Patty Raley – Senior Team Leader

Top in Personal Sponsoring

Melissa Taylor – Director

How did you step up your sponsoring efforts in October?

“Sponsoring is the heart of my business, and sharing the Origami Owl opportunity is my priority every month. I really started focusing on building holiday businesses to those Customers and VIPs who already love Origami Owl. If they loved the holiday launch {of course they did!}, I suggested joining and helping their friends and family out this holiday season, too!”

What do you believe has made the biggest impact on growing your team?

“I lead with the opportunity because it is hands-down the BEST thing we offer! My conversations start with suggesting the opportunity first. I love to show potential team members why they would make an amazing Designer by pointing out that all their incredible outlets such as sports teams, their job, school and mom groups are incredible opportunities for the Origami Owl business!”

How would you encourage others to grow their team?

“Growing a team has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I can’t express how much my team means to me. My one regret is not starting sooner. I didn’t start sponsoring during the first year of my business because I was afraid to. Jump in and go for it. The more energy and focus you direct toward sponsoring, the more success you will see.”

What is your favorite part about your Origami Owl business?

“Sharing stories with my Customers as they build a Locket. It creates an instant bond and instant friendships. My life has been so blessed to gain so many new friends.”

Anything else you’d like to add?

“Reach out! Send direct messages to your best Customers, VIPs, past Hostesses, upcoming Hostesses and anyone you’ve ever talked about the opportunity to in the past. Show them how amazing this month’s new Designer incentive is. Your energy and love of Origami Owl is contagious!”

Top in Developing Team Leaders

Tina Cope – Executive Team Leader

How did you step up your efforts to help others grow in October?

October was the result of many long months of persevering and continuing to encourage my team that they CAN work this business and become great leaders. When one of my team members and I saw the pieces coming together for her to possibly reach Team Leader last month, she and I strategically planned out what was needed to be accomplished by her and her new Designers. As a result of that focused time and effort, she is now a Team Leader with even higher goals that I am positive she will achieve.”

What do you believe has made the biggest impact on your team’s development?

“I believe the biggest impact comes from my refusal to never give up on myself or any member of my team. I am determined to remain focused and help each member do the same until they reach their personal goals. For three-and-a-half years now, I have remained focused on my original five-year goal of retiring to Florida to be near my daughter and care for my mother. My personal dream, just like my emerging team leaders, is now coming true, as well, one year early!”

How would you encourage others to help their team members grow in their development?

“Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed looking at your team as a whole, especially as it grows larger. I suggest selecting one or two Designers at a time who seem ready to take action. Then work with them individually to rediscover their WHY, and give them tips and tools on how to reach their goal. Most of all, continue to give them your encouragement and ongoing support.”

What is your favorite part about your Origami Owl business?

“My favorite part is making long-lasting friendships with all Designers, but especially with my own team. Origami Owl provides me an avenue in which to help others, whom apart from this company, I might never have met.”

Anything else you’d like to add?

“While I do have a sales background and enjoy public interaction, what we do through Origami Owl is so much more than sales. We get to bring joy, comfort, kindness, happiness and love to our Customers not only through what we sell, but how we sell and give back. For that I am forever thankful.”
