O2 Journey
“About five years ago, my mother-in-law gifted me my first Living Locket® with my older two children’s Birthstones, a Dog, an “RN,” my Birthstone and my husband’s Birthstone. Over time, this Locket grew by two more Birthstones when our other children were born, and now my mother-in-law and mother both have similar Living Lockets – it’s tradition! This company has had an impact on me for some time, but since I had our fourth child in February, and decided to stay home beginning in June, me and my husband began talking about this adventure. With this support, I jumped in with both feet, hoping to spread some happiness and create a positive influence in my community and beyond. Every single day, I am blessed by being a part of Origami Owl. It reflects my values and just radiates positivity, which is what the world needs right now. I love that there is a large focus on being a Force For Good® wherever you go. I have loved every minute of this journey and I look forward to growing with O2 in the years to come.”
Earning Senior Designer + Generating Over 800 PV
“Some of the things I believe attributed to success in September are:
- Researching everything I possibly could about Origami Owl
- Becoming familiar with the Back Office and learning modules
- Set up a thriving VIP Facebook group with scheduled posts two to three times per day
- Reaching out to my ALICE list
- Communicating with my team’s leader, Executive Director Jessica Lopez, has been awesome, and I hope to meet her in person someday!
- Plugging into O2 Designers News From the Nest Facebook group. Network, Network, Network!
- Ordering my business cards and essential business supplies ASAP
- Wearing my jewelry out and about, even for small errands
- Keeping my business cards and at least one Take Out Menu with me while out
- Focusing on promoting exclusive collection launches
- Plugging into community Facebook groups
- Partnering with another independent saleswoman in the neighborhood who creates monthly grab bags to expand my reach
- Focusing on virtual sales opportunities, such as Jewelry Bars®, especially with the ongoing pandemic”
Tips for Other Designers
“I would encourage New Designers to build a solid foundation. Once a Designer is familiar with the company, its platform, the Back Office and the educational pieces, he or she should plant seeds with a personalized VIP Facebook group. It is so important to stay on top of all of your contacts, any opportunities in your community, with friends and family, and share it wherever you go. The main thing is just to be yourself and speak from the heart, because then, you cannot go wrong!”
