How did you step up your sales efforts in July?

“Knowing that July was a short month with travel and Convention, I really focused on front-loading. I focused on sales, events and online Jewelry Bars® as early as possible in the month to ease the stress of hitting my monthly goals. I ended up hitting my goals early, so everything that came afterward was just a sweet bonus!”

What do you believe has made the biggest impact on your monthly sales?

“I have a very active VIP group, and I made sure they knew our Spring/Summer Collection was going away. I highlighted pieces that I knew were retiring and reached out to those who had shown interest, but had not purchased. We also had ‘VIP Perks’ in my group, so I included some specials and deals, as well. Plus, I had a few Jewelry Bars that started in June and weren’t ready to close until July – so everything came together for an awesome month.”

How would you encourage others to grow their sales?

“I think it’s so important to share the features of our products. I don’t rely on only the Nest photos. I use photos created by other talented Designers, and even take my own pictures with the products. People like to see our jewelry on people – not just on display. And, you should always attach a story to your pictures – never just ‘Isn’t this pretty? Buy it here!’ Stories bring up emotions and feelings and help our guests connect with our products. After all, we are a storytelling company!”

What’s your favorite piece of jewelry from the Fall/Winter 2019 Collection?

“I have two favorites! I was a huge fan of the Silver Looking Glass Locket, so I’m thrilled to see it in Rose Gold! I love how it magnifies the Charms and resembles more of an antique Locket. My second favorite is the Gold Vertical Bar Living Locket® – it’s so gorgeous! Whether you fill it with Swarovski® Crystals, Charms or our Vertical Bar Silver “Love” Window Shelf, it’s simply stunning!”

Anything else you’d like to add?

“I really hope that everyone is taking advantage of our August Double Points promotion for Costa Rica. If you haven’t been, you still have time! Get to work! Work as hard as you can this month to set yourself on the right path to earn this trip – that includes both sales and sponsoring! Best of luck to everyone who wants to earn this trip!”

How did you step up your sponsoring efforts in July?

“Our personal goal every month is to have a minimum of two, New Designers, but in July, we made our goal five. The past several months, we’ve really revamped our social media efforts and it’s attracted a lot of potential Designers! We also loaded our calendar with Jewelry Bars® in July and changed the way we talked about the business opportunity. We had three Hostesses and two Customers join us in July. All of them approached me about the Jewelry Bars to talk about the opportunity, which is exactly what we’ve been working toward for months.”

What do you believe has made the biggest impact on growing your team?

“Focusing our posts on the lifestyle Origami Owl provides has made a huge difference. If all you do is post the jewelry, then people aren’t seeing the value and potential in the business opportunity. Keep it personal. People want to see what your business is doing for you; they already know you love the jewelry. This has really had the biggest impact on our personal sponsoring.”

How would you encourage others to grow their team?

“Don’t overthink your social media posts. Also, don’t rely on just your social media posts. During every Jewelry Bar, you need to be talking about the opportunity. Share what it has done for you and your family. You can absolutely be strategic without being pushy or salesy. We’ve worked with our team on this and it’s really encouraged them to focus on talking more about what O2 has done for them and their families versus just posting about the jewelry all the time. Be honest. Be yourself. Just be personal!”

What’s your favorite piece of jewelry from the Fall/Winter 2019 Collection?

“My favorite piece of jewelry in the Fall/Winter 2019 Collection is everything gold! I love gold. The Gold Birthstone Bar Locket Necklace is crazy beautiful! I also love the Gold “Protected” Evil Eye Coin Pendant and Petite Twist Living Locket™ Ring. I have too many favorites! Phoebe’s favorite is the Petite Living Locket Ring, too, and the Camo Double Genuine Leather Wrap Bracelet. We love this collection!”

What’s your favorite part of your Origami Owl business?

“My favorite part is watching others change with this opportunity. I love when someone says to me, ‘Why didn’t I do this a long time ago?’ I know what this has done for me personally, and for Phoebe, and now watching it help others just fills up my cup. There’s nothing like having complete power over your life, your ‘job,’ and your happiness.”

What’s the most meaningful story you’ve helped a Customer tell recently?

“Helping a friend create her ‘Kicking Cancer’s Butt’ Locket. She is done with treatment and is headed back to work as a teacher this fall. I know what the power of a Locket holds because seven years ago, it changed my life. This summer, it created hope and happiness during a dark time in her life. Knowing that one of our Lockets brought her joy and something to look forward to during all of that confirms I am exactly where I’m supposed to be. I’m so grateful that I get to be part of moments like that.”
