How did you step up your sales efforts in February?

“I had lots of correspondence with my Customers and made sure to have a strong social media presence.”

What do you believe has made the biggest impact on your monthly sales?

“The hope of spring! Customers are ready for spring and ready to add to their Locket looks!”

How would you encourage others to grow their sales?

“Follow up and follow through with your Customer base daily. Never leave home without jewelry on and make sure you always have business cards and Take Out Menus in hand.”

What is your favorite part about your Origami Owl business?

“It is an outlet for my intense creative spirit and touching the lives of others.”

What’s your favorite piece of Origami Owl jewelry?

“It changes daily! I have been on the Pavé Fimo kick lately. It was from last year during the holidays with the two rows of tiny, clear and red Pavé Crystals in the Large Round Locket.”

What’s the most meaningful story you’ve ever told, or a Customer of yours has told, in a Living Locket?

“I would have to say it’s the memorial Locket I helped a mom create for her infant daughter and mom she lost in the 2014 Oso mudslide in Oso, Washington. It completely broke my heart for this mom.”

How did you step up your efforts to help others grow in February?

“I set goals for myself and for my team. After the February “Swing into Spring” incentive was announced, I encouraged each one of my Designers to try and sponsor at least three, new Designers and help them reach their 250 PV, along with aiming to become a Dreambuilder. In doing so, the Designers on my team grew their teams. I tried my best to help them as much as I could along the way. I communicated with them often to offer advice and suggestions as to how they could reach their PV goals.”

What do you believe has made the biggest impact on your team’s development?

“Good vibes, support, dedication and treating my business as a business, not just a hobby.”

How would you encourage others to help their team members grow in their development?

“Our business is all about team work. If we focus on just ourselves, our team will not reach its full potential.”

What is your favorite part about your Origami Owl business?

“I love engaging with Customers and my team. I have made so many new friends and reconnected with a few old friends, too.”

What’s your favorite piece of Origami Owl jewelry?

“I love the Clara Stud Earrings. I wear them almost every day. They are very comfortable, and with all the varieties of colors, they match everything.”

What’s the most meaningful story you’ve ever told, or a Customer of yours has told, in a Living Locket?

“In 2014, we took our children, who were 1 and 3 at the time, to Walt Disney World®. I made Lockets for them with Charms to represent their favorite Disney princesses. Right now, we’re currently at Disney World again, and this time, they designed their own Petite Twist Living Locket™ look. What’s even more amazing is that a big part of this trip was paid for because of my Origami Owl business. This is only one of many things Origami Owl has done for our family.”

Anything else you’d like to add?

“Don’t give up on your business. There is so much potential in this business if you just stay focused and keep working.”

Aimee Johnson, Senior Director

How did you step up your sponsoring efforts in February?

“I keep a list of anyone who has shown an interest in starting their own Origami Owl business – they are always the first people I reach out to every month. For those who had been on the fence, the $24.50 ‘Anytime, Anywhere’ On-the-Go Kit promotion was just too good to pass up! Once that promotion ended, I continued to share our incredible On-the-Go Kit at the events I had scheduled for February. It’s such a great deal and a very low-risk way to get started! If someone was interested, I signed them up on the spot!”

What do you believe has made the biggest impact on growing your team?

“I never used to share my personal sponsoring numbers with my team. I only wanted to recognize them, and it felt weird to share my own results. But, a good friend told me how Director of Leadership Development Renee Rose told her how important it was for your team to see what you’re doing as the leader. The pace of the leader is the pace of the pack. I’ve always talked about the importance of sponsoring with my team, but it seems like since I’ve been sharing my own numbers, more of our team has been getting out of their comfort zone to share our opportunity! And, the more they see other team members doing it, the more others are encouraged to share, too! It’s been so fun to watch the growth and see them get over their fear of sponsoring!”

How would you encourage others to grow their team?

“Ask everyone! Not even joking – sponsoring is a numbers game. The more people you ask, the more likely you are to get a ‘yes.’ If you are only asking a few people and then giving up, you likely aren’t getting great results. Offer the opportunity at events, parties and anytime you’re chatting with someone about our jewelry. It’s as easy as saying ‘We offer a unique line of jewelry to help you express yourself and share your story…plus we have a pretty incredible business opportunity, too!’ Plant those seeds every chance you get!”

What is your favorite part about your Origami Owl business?

“Honestly, this changes all the time depending on what I’m doing! When I’m at an event, I love meeting new people and creating Lockets. I love how we make people feel. When I’m working from home, I love that I get to be home and set my own schedule. When I’m on a trip, I love that we’re spoiled with annual, all-expenses-paid vacations. I love all the opportunities this company has brought to my life!”

What’s your favorite piece of Origami Owl jewelry?

“I have two, current favorites. I love the Convertible Vintage Key Living Locket® with Swarovski® Crystals – it’s my go-to daily piece of jewelry. I wear it long with these Charms: Dachshund, Cross, Owl, Family and Music Note – all the things that hold the key to my heart! My second favorite piece is my Rose Gold ‘Diamond’ outline shape Pendant that we earned for becoming a Diamond Parliament member last year. The Pendant is simple and dainty and reminds me of all the hard work my team did for that title (and we plan to hit it again this year)!”

What’s the most meaningful story you’ve ever told, or a Customer of yours has told, in a Living Locket?

“So many! The most recent story I heard was about a month before Christmas. A Customer came by to shop for a Locket for her sister. Her sister had lost her husband of 55 years, and she wanted to build a memorial Locket for her. We kept it simple with the Charms – a Memorial Flag (he was a veteran), a Wedding Ring, his first initial and a Heart. Weeks later, she came back to do more Christmas shopping and told me that her sister loved her Locket and clutched it during the entire memorial service and funeral, and has worn it every day since. That is the power of what we do; it’s an incredible thing!”
