How did you step up your sales efforts in April?

“Once we, as a team, decided that we were going to go for Director, I knew I wanted to also have a stellar month. I booked myself as full as I could. I do a lot of events, so I booked as many as I could. I got in touch with people who had talked about having a Jewelry Bar® and made it happen. I offered fundraisers to people who had asked about those, too.”

What do you believe has made the biggest impact on your monthly sales?

“I didn’t let the answer ‘No’ stop me. I just kept moving forward, always looking for that next booking.”

How would you encourage others to grow their sales?

“Don’t give up. If your warm market is done, go find a new one! There are lots of places to look for events. Don’t be afraid to ask.”

What is your favorite part about your Origami Owl business?

“For my personal business, there is nothing better than seeing the look on someone’s face when they see their story come to life in their Locket. It’s that moment that brings tears and joy. It doesn’t get any better than that. For my team, it’s celebrating all the milestone achievements they have – no matter how big or small. It warms my heart when they are so excited by what they have accomplished.”

What’s your favorite piece of Origami Owl jewelry?

“That is an impossible question to answer. I have two Lockets that are near and dear to my heart. One that represents my ‘Why,’ that includes my girls, and the other that represents my story. Those two will always be my most special Lockets. Right now, I think my favourite piece is the Vintage Key Living Locket®.”

What’s the most meaningful story you’ve ever told, or a Customer of yours has told, in a Living Locket?

“As a cancer survivor, I share my story a lot, and I hear a lot of stories. The one that I always remember was a little girl who came up to me at an event and noticed the scar on my chest.  She pulled her shirt to show me that she had the same scar.  While we were chatting, I found out she loved to dance. Her mom came over at this point and told me that her daughter had Leukemia. I knew from her scar that it was something like that. While we were all getting to know each other, I put together a mini Locket with a ballerina, ‘I love to Dance’ Charm and her birthstone Charm. It’s so easy to find out information from little girls! As they were getting ready to leave, I gave the Locket to the little girl and told her that when she was having treatment and is not able to dance, that she could hold that Locket to remind her that she will be putting on her ballet shoes again soon. Needless to say, we were all in tears. Her mom started to pull out her wallet, and I said ‘No,’ I couldn’t take anything from her. This was my gift to her daughter; her brave beautiful daughter.”

Anything else you’d like to add?

“Our Lockets are so much more than jewelry, and we offer so much more than a business opportunity. We truly are a company that embodies goodness and heart. I’m so happy to call it home.”

How did you step up your efforts to help others grow in April?

“I reached out to some potential leaders during April. Some of them already had a couple of Designers on their team. I asked them if they were interested in earning a leadership title. We set a goal, planned accordingly, and kept track of their success. One of them even double promoted last month! Sometimes Designers think earning Team Leader is far beyond them, which makes it even more exciting when they achieve it. Other leaders who hadn’t hit their Paid-As title got motivated seeing new leaders pop up. It was a great month for everyone!”

What do you believe has made the biggest impact on your team’s development?

“There are very strong leaders on my team and upline. Their leadership and motivation are contagious. We encourage each other to reach our goals. Sharing your goal(s) with your team, especially with your leaders, is crucial.”

How would you encourage others to help their team members grow in their development?

“Always ask your team members who wants to grow their business. Look for those on your team who show leadership skills or are working hard. I remember saying at the beginning that growing a team was not in my plan. I was only focused on selling for the first six months. After you start sponsoring and seeing your team members take off, it really changes your state of mind. You are so thrilled when your team members promote or accomplish new successes; you celebrate their successes as if they were your own.”

What is your favorite part about your Origami Owl business?

“I joined Origami Owl because I needed the extra income, not realizing all the other perks that came along with becoming a Designer. Origami Owl allows you to work your business at your pace. You work as much, or as little, as you want. Recognition, incentive trips and extra income are always a blessing. What I never realized was the wonderful friendships I would make in this business, and the impact it would make on me personally. I love been surrounded by strong leaders and having superwomen as role models.”

What’s your favorite piece of Origami Owl jewelry?

“I don’t know if I can pick only one! I’m definitely a wrap girl. I love our leather wraps with a Living Locket® or just accessorized. They can really be paired with anything from casual wear to more dressy attire.”

What’s the most meaningful story you’ve ever told, or a Customer of yours has told, in a Living Locket?

“I remember during a Jewelry Bar® that a Customer had already written her order down. She was creating a Locket to represent her family. When she opened our Take Out Menu, she saw that she could personally inscribe a Plate. At that time, we had an Angel Frame. She had just lost her father, so she changed her order and inscribed a Plate in memory of her dad. She was in tears as she explained what she was ordering. I love how our jewelry connects with people’s stories.”

Anything else you’d like to add?

“In life, there are always ups and downs. In business, it’s the same. If a month doesn’t go your way, it doesn’t mean that it’s time to throw in the towel. Evaluate what you did that month and give yourself goals for the next month. Having a plan is very important. Sometimes we feel afraid to share our goals with our upline or team because we don’t want to feel disappointed. But, you will realize that when you have an accountability partner, your business will change. There really is no secret to having a successful business. Love what you do and share it with passion. Others will follow.”

How did you step up your sponsoring efforts in April?

“To be honest, I’ve been very blessed with sponsoring. I actually haven’t offered anyone to join my team directly; they have all looked for me on their own. They see my enthusiasm and how excited I am about these amazing items that they private message me. I explain the process and perks of joining and share my personal experience. My Designers have been amazing. I’m with them day and night – literally any time of the day – to answer questions. My goal is to help them succeed. Dream big. If you never take the risk, you’ll never know what’s in store for you.”

What do you believe has made the biggest impact on growing your team?

“The biggest impact has been being able to help so many independent women grow their own businesses and prove to themselves that they’re able to succeed in a small business opportunity like Origami Owl.”

How would you encourage others to grow their team?

“I try to encourage my team to dream big, regardless of if they have a team or not. I also try to encourage them to offer the opportunity with others everywhere they go. You never know who is looking for an opportunity to be an entrepreneur. I also encourage them to share their own experiences so that a new, potential Designer can see what’s behind this amazing company.”

What is your favorite part about your Origami Owl business?

“My favorite part of my Origami Owl business is being able to make other happy by creating special pieces of jewelry. The jewelry sells itself. It’s so beautiful and meaningful. I never imagined having an amazing team in only a few months. I love how Origami Owl is so rewarding and family-oriented. I think it’s the most important thing in this business that we get motivated by the Founders, and we get amazing rewards.”

What’s your favorite piece of Origami Owl jewelry?

“My favorite piece is everything! The Signature Living Locket® Watch is my everyday favorite piece; it’s so beautiful, plus it’s very appealing to new Customers. I get to tell my story every day with such cute Charms. Anywhere I go I get asked, ‘Oh, what’s that inside your Watch? Can I see it?’ I get to show off my story! It’s been my #1 selling piece since I started in October 2017. The Clara Studs are also one of my favorite pieces, along with the Living Locket Ring. And, the Legacy Silver Oval Photo Living Locket with Swarovski® Crystals is one of my new favorites since I’m able to capture a moment in life and show it off to everyone.”

What’s the most meaningful story you’ve ever told, or a Customer of yours has told, in a Living Locket?

“The most meaningful story I’ve told was to my sister for my nephew’s gender reveal. I gave her the new Photo Living Locket. Once she knew the baby’s gender, she customized it with a picture from the ultrasound, a Letter Initial Charm, his Birthstone Charm, the Stork Charm and the Baby Boy Feet Charm. To me, that’s very special and meaningful that everyone has their different story. I’m so impressed with how Origami Owl is changing lives.”

Anything else you’d like to add?

“Origami Owl has been such a life-changing experience. I encourage everyone to never give up because everything happens for a reason. My wish is that everyone could take advantages of the amazing opportunity that Origami Owl has to offer. Take the risk. Try new things. Life is like a box full of surprises. Don’t be afraid to offer the business opportunity to everyone; you never know who many need it.”
