As you know, this year, we began communicating an update to our Jewelry Bar® rules for the length of time a Jewelry Bar can remain open, how many times the deadline can be extended and what would happen to rewards if the Jewelry Bar was forced closed. {You can read those details here.}

We have now started this new process of closing outdated Jewelry Bars per our updates, however, our email reminders are not sending as anticipated as we have a high volume of outdated Jewelry Bars that need to be closed.

In the meantime, here’s what we strongly recommend each Designer do to ensure a Jewelry Bar isn’t mistakenly closed.

  1. Go into your Back Office Jewelry Bars section.
  2. Review your Jewelry Bar Dashboard and especially take note of the closing dates of each Jewelry Bar. You will need to open each Jewelry Bar to see the closing date that is set.
  3. If the Jewelry Bar closing date is TODAY or prior, that Jewelry Bar will be closed by our system shortly. If you do not wish for it to be closed and it has not yet been extended once already, you may extend your Jewelry Bar by up to 30 days.
  • In the event of a Jewelry Bar closure by our system, please note that the Hostess Rewards’ free items will be credited to the Hostess’ account, but the ½ off discounts and Hostess Exclusive discounts will not awarded.

We are confident that going forward starting in June, our system will generate the intended warning emails at 1 week prior to the closing date and 48 hours prior to the Jewelry Bar closing date to give you the reminder you need.
