Here are a few thoughts + tips:

  • While the O2 for $2 opportunity is a great conversation starter, be sure to continue the conversation by asking a few key questions to help your new Designer determine if she would like to consider one of our Starter Kit opportunities:
    -How would she like to run her business: On social media, at event, in-home Jewelry Bars or a combination of all 3?
  • Share with her how a starter kit may be just the option she is looking for!
  • Identify what excites your potential Designer the most about starting their Origami Owl business – Ex: Are they joining because they love our jewelry? Are they looking at this for additional income? Are they going to work this part-time or full-time (Listen very closely as the responses will lead to the appropriate kit that will support their success.).
  • Who do THEY know – Build an A.L.I.C.E. List and take note of who is local and who is not.
  • Share the ways they can join. Is she looking to start a full-time, part-time or spare time business? Perhaps starting with some Origami Owl inventory would be a great way to launch her business. We truly have an option for every budget and the decision is truly theirs!Always start with the top level kit and then work down to the O2 for $2 offer. For each kit, highlight the value first – ultimately, the value becomes their earnings potential, what they receive for their investment, the overall price, etc.
    Based on what they have shared in step one and two, you can make a recommendation on what could best meet their needs. Success stories of team members who purchased each kit could also be shared. For example, “when Suzy purchased X kit, she used it to kick off her business with a launch Jewelry Bar at her home. She selected key pieces to use for her standard display and the rest she leveraged for make-and-takes to get additional, on-the-spot sales right away to earn back her investment on her kit.”
