Better Together is BACK
UPDATE 01.06.17: Registration deadline has been extended until Friday, January 13 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
The Better Together Team Challenge is BACK and we can’t wait to reward you and your team with great prizes just for sticking to your O2 Vital Behaviors during the January and February challenge period!
If you participated in the last challenge, you know how great the prizes are—this year, there’s a FREE trip to The O2 Experience in Phoenix, Arizona on the line! Earn first place and it could be yours!
Here are the Challenge basics:
• Sign up is available from Monday, December 19 at 2 p.m. CT through January 13, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
• Select a team of 3 to 5 Designers and choose a Team Captain. (Please note: You can only have one ETL or above per team.)
• Log in to your Back Office and select “My O2 Business” to register your team by January 6.
• The goal is to have the highest point total by the end of the challenge on February 28, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Besides growing your team and experiencing all the rewards that come with it, you’ll also earn amazing prizes ranging from $75 to $1,500 USD along the way!
The First Place Team can choose from a Free Convention Trip (ticket, room, airline tickets and bonus items) or flying to Arizona for a SOAR Saturday Live from The Nest! Stay tuned for the rest of the OWL-mazing prizes for teams placing 1st through 10th places coming soon.
How the Points Work
Better Together Team Members and new, personally sponsored Designers who join Origami Owl during the contest period will EACH add points to your team for doing the following:
• 1 Pt – Generating 99 PV in a month
• 2 Pts – Achieving Storybuilder in a Month
• 5 Pts – Achieving Owlchiever in a Month
• 10 Pts – Achieving 10 Owlchiever Points in a Month
Sponsor to add more points! Personally sponsor new Designers in the designated contest period, and you’ll also earn points on THEIR activities! New Designers count if their enrollment date is on or after January 1, 2017.
Bonus Points for Team Efforts in a Month –
• 3 people from your team achieve Storybuilder = 2x your total team pts
• 3 people from your team achieve Owlchiever = 10x your total team pts
• 5 people from your team achieve Storybuilder = 4x your total team pts
• 5 people from your team achieve Owlchiever = 20x your total team pts.

Update for SOAR Saturdays in 2017
The October SOAR Saturday Live from The Nest was a huge hit! In fact, it was such a huge success, we’re changing up SOAR Saturday!
Starting in 2017, there will be four SOAR Saturday events hosted by Origami Owl—the first one will be live from the O2 L.E.A.D. Empowerment Summit on Saturday, January 14 from 11 a.m. CT until approximately 1:15 p.m. CT. We’ll reveal the Spring 2017 Collection and many other announcements you won’t want to miss!
We’ll also host a SOAR Saturday LIVE event in April, one in July from The O2 Experience and another in October. These are the perfect opportunities to get your teams together and get your game plans set.

Jumpstart to Owlchiever Updates for 2017
We’re always looking at ways we can improve our programs and we’re thrilled to share that Jumpstart to Owlchiever will be receiving a few updates in 2017.
Starting January 1, you may notice a change to the Jumpstart to Owlchiever Tracker in your Back Office. Not only are we simplifying the name to “O2 Jumpstart,” but we’re also changing the requirements a bit in 2017.
O2 Jumpstart Updates
New Designers who join O2 beginning January 1, 2017 will be enrolled in the updated, O2 Jumpstart Program.
Our goal with this updated program is to give new Designers an incentive to achieve the following two requirements within a calendar month:
• Generate 500 PV in a calendar month
• Personally Sponsor (1) New Active Designer – the Designer must also generate 99 PV in the same calendar month in which they are sponsored.
o An Active Designer = 99 PV in a calendar month
The rewards for the O2 Jumpstart Program remain the same during the Jumpstart Period:
o 1st time = $50 USD | $70 CAD O2 Credit
o 2nd time = $100 USD | $140 CAD O2 credit
o 3rd time = $150 USD |$210 CAD O2 credit
Designers will still earn double Owlchiever Points during their Jumpstart Period
A maximum of 5 Jumpstart Bonus Points can be awarded each calendar month, with a maximum total of 15 Jumpstart Bonus Points during the duration of their Jumpstart Period.
So, what about current Designers who are participating in Jumpstart to Owlchiever?
Anyone currently in their Jumpstart Period, (their enrollment month plus the next 3 full months) will continue to be eligible for O2 Jumpstart Program under the new requirements starting on January 1, 2017.
o Those Designers will begin the new program with the months they have remaining and will be eligible to earn the rewards they have not yet earned.
o They will earn the remaining rewards based off of the new requirements/qualifications.
o The reward levels remain the same – only how they earn changes.
So, as you can see, 2017 is going to be one OWL-mazing year for you and your teams! Gather your Better Together Challenge team and register in your Back Office by January 6, 2017. Then mark your calendar for the first SOAR Saturday LIVE of the year on January 14 starting at 11 a.m. CT.
